Why your chart is TradingView’s chart.

We license TradingView’s Advanced Charts and show them as TradingView draws them, because on a product about not overstating things, the chart is the last place to start.

Mindkeel is a desk you argue with about a trade. You ask whether a setup is any good; it reads what you are looking at, names the thing you are not, checks the size against the rule you set yourself, and some days it tells you there is no trade here.

All of that happens on a chart. So the first real decision was whose chart.

We license the TradingView Advanced Charts library and show it as TradingView draws it: the same candles, the same light and dark themes, the same drawing tools and keyboard shortcuts. When the desk marks your invalidation, it uses the drawing tools you already know, on the chart you already read, and the level lands where you would have put it yourself.

We could have drawn our own. Plenty of products do, and there is a version of this post where we explain how ours is a bit nicer. That would have been the wrong choice, for one reason that matters more than the others.

The desk quotes numbers back at you. Those numbers have to be the ones on your screen.

When the desk says the daily high at 64,860 sits 1,380 above your entry, you should be able to look at the chart and see it, not a number our own renderer reached by a slightly different route. When it reads an indicator you have on the chart, like RSI or MACD, it reads the chart’s own values, and when it cannot, it says the value is unavailable instead of guessing.

A second renderer is a second source of truth. Two sources of truth on a money product is a bug you can ship for a year without noticing, and the person who finds it is a trader who acted on the wrong one.

That is also why the chart is the one thing on our site we do not redraw. The chart on our homepage is TradingView’s, captured from the live chart, not an illustration of one.

Charting is TradingView’s craft, and they have been at it a long time. Ours is the argument you have before you click. Those are different jobs, and the desk works better sitting inside theirs.
