What happens to your trades, your data and your money
- Not a broker
- Not investment advice
- Last updated
Each answer matches how Mindkeel works on the date above. What we haven’t built yet has its own section.
Can it place a trade?
No. You place every trade yourself, through your own broker. The desk has no way to send, change or cancel an order.
It reads your chart, draws on it and tells you what it found.
- Read your drawings
- Found levels
- Assessed trade risk
- Drew on the chart
- Updated an indicator · after you approve
- Saved to memory
What does a broker connection let it do?
Read your account, and nothing more.
Broker connections aren’t open yet. The ones built are Zerodha, Dhan and manual entry, and with one, Mindkeel can read your holdings, positions, past orders and balances. Your broker keys are stored encrypted, and deleted when you disconnect.
What do you keep about me, and for how long?
What you write and what the desk needs to answer you. Most of it stays until you delete it, conversations expire on their own, and a few records stay after you delete your account.
| What | Why we keep it | How long | How you remove it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your account | To sign you in | Until you delete your account | Settings, Security, Delete account |
| Your conversations, and files you attach | So you can come back to them | Archived after 180 days unused, deleted a year after that | Delete it from your history, or delete your account |
| What the desk remembers about you | So you don’t brief it every morning | Until you clear it | Settings, Memory: edit any line or clear it |
| Your rules and saved methods | To check your ideas against them | Until you change them | Settings, Your rules and Skills |
| Your own indicators | To run them on your chart | Until you delete your account | Deleting your account |
| Your chart layouts and drawings | So your chart comes back as you left it | Until you delete them | On the chart |
| A record of each request | To find faults and see what each answer cost | Until you delete your account | Deleting your account removes its text and anything tying it to you |
| Sign-in records: the time, IP address and browser of each sign-in | To spot someone else using your account | Kept with no end date | They stop being linked to you when you delete your account |
| Credit records | Our books | Kept | No name or email on them after you delete your account |
The record of each request holds the model, the cost, the time it took and the steps the desk took. For about one request in ten, and every request that failed, we also keep the full text so we can find what went wrong. That copy stays until you delete your account, even after the conversation itself is gone.
What happens when I delete my account?
Your account, conversations, memory, rules and files are deleted at once. A few records stay, listed here, with your name and email removed.
What stays: your credit records, which our books need; a record that an account existed; the cost and timing of past requests, without their text; and your sign-in records, with their IP addresses, no longer linked to your account. We also keep a one-way code made from your email. It can’t be turned back into your address, but it recognizes that address if it signs up again, so one inbox gets one free trial. Copies in our short-term cache clear within 7 days.
How do you make money?
From paid plans, and nothing else. Paying for one isn’t open yet.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance that the desk spends on the AI models it calls for you. What an answer costs depends on the model and how much work it takes, and you’re charged for what it used. The allowance resets each billing cycle and doesn’t carry over.
We don’t show ads, sell your data, earn from brokers or get paid when you trade.
Each model’s price is on Pricing, and in the model picker before you send.
Which AI models and services see my messages?
The model you pick, run by its maker, and the few services named here.
| Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite, Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro (Preview) | Google’s terms | |
| Anthropic | Claude Haiku 4.5, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5 | Anthropic’s terms |
| OpenAI | GPT-5.6 Luna, GPT-5.6 Terra | OpenAI’s terms |
Your message and the chart data it needs go to that model’s maker, under the maker’s own terms, linked beside each name. When a conversation gets long, the same maker’s lowest-priced model summarizes the earlier part so it fits. Web search is off unless you turn it on, on a paid plan.
Other services: errors on the website go to Sentry so we can fix them. When you set a password, the first five characters of a one-way code made from it, never the password itself, are checked against Have I Been Pwned’s list of leaked passwords. Our emails go out through an email delivery service.
How is my account protected?
Hashed passwords, a lock after repeated wrong guesses, and two-factor sign-in if you turn it on.
You can see where you’re signed in and sign out everywhere. Every request is rate limited.
What haven’t you done yet?
Here is what’s missing today.
- No outside security audit, such as SOC 2.
- No terms of service or privacy policy published yet. Both will be before launch.
- No way to download your data.
- No public status page.
- No bug bounty.
Is this investment advice?
No. Mindkeel is analysis and education. You make every decision.
It checks the idea you bring against your own rules and shows its working. It never tells you what to buy or sell.
